Speaker 1:

Hey there folks, day 15 of our 25 days and 25 ways to a better Christmas morning. And today is about having a special family food. So maybe you have a family that has a traditional holiday food. Try to make it with your kiddos. Maybe you don't have a family food and you've always wanted to try a specific kind of food. Maybe you start a new family tradition. Maybe ask your kids what kind of food they would like for your new family holiday tradition.

Speaker 1:

Family holiday tradition Start today and practice today making it today so that on Christmas day you can make this special thing again on Christmas day and it will be perfect. So let us know your favorite family recipe. If you're willing to share, would love to hear from you favorite family recipe if you're willing to share, would love to hear from you. And if you don't have one, maybe this is your opportunity to grab some ideas here from other people who have other ideas.

Speaker 1:

In our family we are Italian and so we make ravioli for Christmas, and it is a true labor of love for anyone else who has made your own pasta and made your own ravioli, because inevitably you put too much filling and then it explodes in the boiling water and then it's a disaster. This is why we're practicing today, so that on Christmas it will be perfect. So maybe you don't get that fancy. Maybe you are just going to make, you know, a breakfast burrito I don't know Whatever it is for you and maybe breakfast burritos are fancy. That's excellent. My kids think they're fancy. That's because they don't get them that often. That's the beauty of kids they don't know what's fancy and what isn't. Happy cooking.
