What do you get when you have two psychologists, talking about mental wellness??  You get THIS EPISODE! We talk everything from traumatic growth to male/female expectations (as they relate to emotions especially!) to "how did we get here?" discussions. Jerry's background in the services, as well as coaching/fitness/wellness, is evident in his overall style and is such a great contribution to this episode (and the field!). Here is a bit more about Jerry "Sunshine" Novack.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have one resource that could provide fitness, financial, professional, social, and psychological information and coaching?  This is exactly what Dr. Jerry “Sunshine” Novack provides.  A certified personal trainer (NASM) since 1997, Dr. Sunshine received his BA in Public Relations in 1995, his MA in Counselor Education in 2006, and his PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2012.  After completing his doctorate, Dr. Sunshine commissioned as an officer and active-duty psychologist in the US Air Force.  In 2019, Dr. Sunshine left active service under honorable conditions and accepted work as a civilian psychologist. Dr. Sunshine transitioned out of clinical work into coaching in 2021 and is currently adding a financial coaching credential to his resume’.  Dr. Sunshine has published multiple articles and book chapters in a variety of academic journals and popular media.  He was given the name “Sunshine” by his brothers and sisters in B.A.C.A. ( https://bacaworld.org ) as a nod to his “Sunny New Jersey disposition.”
